By the will of God, Church Ministry was commenced in the year 1999 in the place called Dandumanagar a slum near St.Thomas Mount, were people of economically downtrodden live.
Initially through the Holy Spirit’s working a flower vendor near a Hindu temple, opened her house to conduct the Church. It was a small, gathering and thereby the flower vendor accepted the Lord from Hinduism. Later her son-in-law was also touched by the Lord who was suffering from severe wheezing, is now an active member of AGF Church. Many barren women delivered beautiful babies, through the Church ministry.
A prayer day was exclusively conducted monthly once thereby many Hindus attended this meeting and a number of healing took place.
Another family was touched and they gave us the next place to worship. We converted a small house as a Church but it was without a roof and so the Church built the roof and in the first floor the Church was functioning.
Many accepted the Lord in these slum areas but as part of Highways expansion the Government to take over the place.
The Church was shifted to Alandur, which is now located is among the Muslim community.
